No-slipper rule at government health centre

CHARMINAR: entry provision imposed by Urban Community Centre at Karwan has left patients and visitors angry. They said that no health centre has any such rule.

“I wanted to take medicine for my son and I was asked to remove my shoes. The guard said this rule it to ensure that everything remains neat and clean,” Aneesunissa Begum said.

“The government asks people to take advantage of the facilities provided by them, but such rules compel public to stay away from these government health centres. Is it a medical council rule? If not, then it should be scrapped,” visitor Mohammed Sayeed said.

Another visitor Prakash questioned what is the cleaning staff doing?
