Mike Foote is my choice for Boulder County district attorney. It was my honor, as a St. Vrain Board of Education member, to work with Mike to advance an enlightened collection of legislative priorities. One important example was a bill — now statute — to improve communication channels supporting students, school counselors and professionals. This was one of a number of school safety initiatives that Mike championed. And as a member of the Colorado Department of Public Safety‘s School Safety Resource Center‘s Advisory Board representing school board members statewide, I saw Mike bring determination and focus to these critical local and national issues.
As a 20-year resident of Boulder County, I am supporting an aggressive deputy district attorney who cares about issues that are the core of what Boulder County residents care about — public safety, school safety, juvenile justice reform, environmental protections, safeguards for women, mental health support, court administration, sentencing reform and transparency, protecting crime victims, and engaging immigrant communities — all while vigorously prosecuting tough cases that require professionalism. He has successfully prosecuted all manner of felony cases, such as gun crimes, sexual assaults, elder abuse, complex economic crimes and arson, among others.
He knows this Boulder County District‘s Office and its courts. He has a progressive legislative record that encompasses all areas of concern to Boulder County residents. Mike‘s experience as a prosecutor led to legislation that provides real solutions to address our priorities.
Mike is a community leader — well known and respected throughout Boulder County. He knows our towns and cities and our impactful organizations around the county that support families, students, vulnerable populations and crime victims. He will continue to reach out to each and every one of our communities.
Please join me and vote for Mike Foote.
